Indianapolis, IND — Knox County Councilman Mike Morris, a dedicated public servant with a decade-long tenure as sheriff and prior experience as county auditor, has pledged his endorsement of Suzanne Crouch for Governor.
“It is my honor to proudly endorse Suzanne Crouch as our next Governor of Indiana. Suzanne is the type of conservative leader who has been fighting for Hoosiers while serving with distinction in various county and state elected roles, which are vital to the growth and prosperity of Indiana. She is an honest, hardworking, dedicated servant to the people of Indiana who has earned our support to serve as our next Governor. I am proud to endorse my friend, Suzanne Couch, as the next Governor of the great state of Indiana,” said Morris.
Morris began his career as a Knox County jail officer in 1977. He served the county sheriff’s office in various roles over several decades until being appointed sheriff in 2009. He spent 10 years as sheriff, retiring in 2019.
With over four decades of law enforcement service, Morris was honored with the Sagamore of the Wabash Award. Following his sheriff tenure, he served as the Knox County auditor and currently holds the position of Knox County Councilman for District 2.
