Indianapolis, IND — Jennings County Sheriff Kenny Freeman has pledged his endorsement of Suzanne Crouch for Governor, emphasizing her commitment to combat the opioid crisis, particularly the deadly fentanyl affecting Hoosiers.

“Suzanne Crouch is the governor we need to fight against the deadly fentanyl that is killing so many Hoosiers. I join other law enforcement officials in endorsing Suzanne for governor, and know she will provide the courage and leadership we need while also supporting our law enforcement personnel and their families,” said Freeman.

Sheriff Freeman, in office since 2019, brings a diverse background in law enforcement, safety, policing, and military service. With previous roles in the military, including deputy brigade commander in the 205th and 157th Infantry, and flying attack helicopters, Freeman’s leadership also extended to running the Army’s sole high school completion program. During his two-year command, he saved the government over $3 million by creating efficiencies.
