Indianapolis, IND — Former Owen County Sheriff Sam Hobbs has pledged his endorsement of Suzanne Crouch for Governor, citing her visionary leadership and solid foundation.
“As a pastor and former Owen County Sheriff, I am looking for a governor who is aware and focused on the things we need tomorrow, today. It is important to me, as a faith-based conservative, to support a candidate with the right vision, leadership, and a solid foundation. I am pleased to endorse Suzanne Crouch for governor,” said Hobbs.

Hobbs was elected in 2014, becoming Owen County’s first Republican sheriff in over four decades. He served in that role until 2022.

Suzanne Crouch remains the only gubernatorial candidate endorsed by more than 100 past and present elected officials in Indiana. A full list of those endorsements can be found here.
