Indianapolis, IND — Former Frankfort City Councilman and current Mulberry Town Councilman-elect Lewis Wheeler has pledged his endorsement of Suzanne Crouch for Governor.
“One of the many things that I love about raising my family in Indiana is the strong capable women in leadership that my daughters can look up to as role models,” Wheeler said. “For many years, I had to explain to my girls that there were great women leaders totally different from the Nancy Pelosi’s, Barbara Boxer’s, Debbie Wasserman Schulz’s, and Kamala Harris’s of the Democrat Party. I proudly supported Suzanne Crouch in an election where the great ladies of our state took the Secretary of State’s office, the State Treasurer’s Office, and the Auditor’s Office. I was not surprised when she did an outstanding job of leading our state in her role as State Auditor. I found her warmth and wisdom to set her apart from others. Her leadership, rightfully so, put her on the ticket for Lieutenant Governor when the eyes of the world were on Indiana. She did not disappoint! She delivered! She managed to keep her identity and individualism, all the while diligently working for Indiana in her role as Lieutenant Governor. I know she will lead us into greater economic growth, a better tax climate, and, all the while, being a shining example for the future young lady leaders of our state. She is the best choice for Governor and she has my full support!”
Wheeler is an Ivy Tech professor and Mulberry Town Councilman-elect. He served as a Frankfort City Councilman from 2015 to 2019.
